What stays on your device

The calculator uses your date of birth inside the page to do the arithmetic. Your date of birth isn't stored. It isn't sent anywhere either. The site has no database on a server. No form on this site sends anything.

On number pages, you can mark questions as "Saved." They're kept in your own browser's local storage, on your device only. Nobody else can see them. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.

Visit counting and cookies

Visits are counted with Google Analytics, a service from Google LLC. It records which pages were opened. It records the page that sent you here. It records your type of device and browser. It also records roughly where the visit came from. Google works that out from your internet address.

Google Analytics doesn't record the date of birth you type. It doesn't record your saved questions either.

Outside the EU, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets two cookies. One is called _ga. The other one's name starts with _ga_. They keep a return visit from being counted as a new one. They last up to two years.

To not be counted at all, block cookies or scripts in your browser. You can also use a content blocker.

The EU, the UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the EU, the UK or Switzerland, the site tells Google not to store cookies. Your visit is still counted, without cookies.

Fonts and your internet provider

The fonts on this site load from Google Fonts. Your internet provider can see that you visited, as with any site.

Children and changes

This site isn't directed at children.

If anything here changes, this page will say so in the same plain words. It will show the date of the change.
