How to calculate your life path number
You can find any life path number with a pen and a birth date. It takes about a minute, and you'll only need simple addition.
-
Month
Write the month as its number, so March is 3 and December is 12, which becomes 1+2 = 3.
-
Day
Add the digits of the day until 1 digit is left, so 14 becomes 1+4 = 5.
-
Year
Add the digits of the year until 1 digit is left, so 1990 becomes 19, then 10, then 1.
-
Add them up
Add your 3 results and reduce the total the same way, so March 14, 1990 gives 3+5+1 = 9.
Master numbers
Keep 11, 22 or 33 whenever a step lands on one. These master numbers count as stronger versions of 2, 4 and 6. For November 29, 1985, month 11 stays and day 2+9 = 11 stays. Year 1+9+8+5 = 23 becomes 2+3 = 5, so 11+11+5 = 27, then 2+7 = 9.
Why reduce them separately?
Reducing the month, day and year on their own is what keeps master numbers visible. Adding every digit at once usually gives the same final number, but it can hide an 11 or a 22.
